Simple Effective Skincare

ASAP Skin care | Cassandra Lee Blog

I love discovering new products and brands, and when they are owned and made in Australia they automatically spike my interest.

ASAP | Cassandra Lee Blog

I've been wanting to try ASAP sknicare for ages so when the team from Facial Co reached out I was very excited to finally get my hands on these products.

ASAP is a cosmeceutical range that aims to provide simple and effective skincare that is affordable. Basing their formulas around key ingredients such as AHA's and antioxidants like white tea, ASAP delivers beautiful products that are gentle on the skin whilst not compromising their results.

ASAP Daily Facial Cleanser | Cassandra Lee Blog

A beautiful milky cleanser that had a a lovely light fragrance, the Daily Facial Cleanser felt gentle and non drying on my skin, which is something I always look for due to having dry skin. My skin was left feeling cleaning without feeling stripped. With glycolic acid and white tea being the active ingredients, they help slow the signs of aging and help reduce damage from free radicals.

ASAP Daily Exfoliating Scrub | Cassandra Lee Blog

The Daily Exfoliating Facial Scrub is a combination of a physical and chemical exfoliant, using biodegradable beads and glycolic acid to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. This can be used daily however, I've only been using it every 2 to 3 days as I feel thats all my skin really needs. I did use it daily for the first week as I had a bit of texture across the outer part of my face. The Daily Scrub cleared it up within a couple of days which I was really impressed by.

My partner has also been loving this product. After trying to keep it from him for the first week, he sneakily started using it and after the first time I couldn't keep him away from it. It visibly started clearing up the pimples he had on his chin and he is now a big supporter of this brand and in particular this product. He also has been using the cleanser which he really likes.

ASAP Advanced Eye Complex | Cassandra Lee Blog

I find eye creams hard to review as I see them, at this stage at least, as more as a preventive product rather than something I'm going to see quick results with. I did find the Advanced Eye Complex a beautiful product to use, that was a lightweight formula with some great active ingredients like retinol, white tea, ceramides and coEnzyme Q10, which all help to nourish skin cells, hydrate and help fight the signs of aging. At 27 those fine lines are slowly starting to make an appearance so anything to help prolong them is a definite tick my book.

ASAP Moisturising Daily Defence SPF 50+ | Cassandra Lee Blog

The final product from ASAP that I've been using is the Moisturising Daily Defence SPF50+. When using products based on AHA's its really important to make sure you are using a good SPF, otherwise all the hardwork the AHA's are doing, are going to be pointless. Not to mention we all should be using one anyway. Sunscreen however, is something I often forget to put on unless it is in moisturiser so this product is perfect for me. Hyaluronic Acid being a key ingredient creates a hydrating formula that is still lightweight and absorbs quickly. I also found this sat really well under makeup.

Australian skin care brand ASAP | Cassandra Lee Blog

Overall, I love all the products that I've tested from this brand and am really keen to try out some of their serums, in particular their Super B Complex which I've heard great things about.
