Transition

Transeasonal knit wear Cassandra Lee

It's officially the second week of spring, although the weather is starting to warm up a little bit, it still isn't quite shorts weather. By incorporating spring colours into your "winter" wardrobe, you can keep warm but still enjoy the feeling of spring.

Since the beginning of August I've been ready to start shopping for spring! Seriously, you guys should see my wishlists on my favourite websites, we're talking at least 2 pages. Unfortunately tho, August and even now, is still a bit chilly for shorts and floaty dresses. So instead, I've been trying to mix bright colours into my trans-seasonal wardrobe.

White jeans are the perfect trans-seasonal piece. Personally I like a high waist skinny jean, but just find your favourite cut of jean in white and your good to go. Jeans are definitely a staple in my wardrobe, as they really are so versatile and go with everything.

To go with the white jeans, I wanted a bright coloured jumper. This one I've had for ages and was from Cotton On and luckily mustard has totally come back into fashion this past season. You don't have to go for a yellow if that's a bit out of your comfort zone, but just look out for bright or pastel shades, even a nice pale blue or pink would look great with this outfit.

I wore this outfit to work, were I'm on my feet for the majority of the day, so comfort was absolutely key. I'm sure everyone is aware of the white sneaker trend going on at the moment and it is definitely here to stay for a while longer.
