Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Garnier Micellar Water

Micellar waters have been all the rage in the beauty industry lately, with more and more brands coming out with the hyped product. One such brand is Garnier, who know have 3 different types of micellar waters on the market, for specific skin types.

Garnier Micellar Water

It may surprise you, but the Garnier micellar water is my first experience using this type of product. I know, super late to the game, but better late then never right? So in saying that, I can't compare this product to any other similar products from other brands.

The Garnier Micellar water is a very gentle product, that would be a fantastic option for people with sensitive skin. Not only is the formula soothing, but you don't need to rub at the skin in order to remove the product, resulting in less chances of irritating the skin.

It is so easy to use, simple pour some of the product onto cotton pads and wipe over the skin to remove makeup. For eye makeup, I like to hold the cotton pads over my eye for a few seconds, allowing the product to really work into my lashes, before gently swiping away.

Now personally, while it does do a good job at removing makeup, I always follow it up with my usually cleanser as I do find the micellar water on its own, doesn't remove all traces of product. And because you are literally just wiping the product over the skin, I don't see how it could do a great job at getting into your pores and thoroughly cleansing them.

Would I repurchase the Garnier micellar water? Yes, I would. Even though personally I prefer a cleansing oil over this formula, I think I would always try and keep some form of cleansing water in my beauty cupboard. And the reason for this is, because it is so quick and easy to use, it would be perfect for those nights when I really couldn't be bothered with my proper skin care routine, (come on, we've all had those nights) but still need to remove my makeup.

Affordable, great for all skin types and effective at removing makeup, this is a great product that does the job it is intended for. Have you used a micellar water, and if so do you like them?
