Last week, Sydney hosted the annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and what a week it was. I wish I could've gone to this as every show looked incredible. Instead I lived vicariously through the snapchats of the lucky attendees.
It was very hard, but I narrowed down my top 10 favourite looks from the week. An almost impossible task but I did it. And while there were so many more looks that I loved, I tried to pick the ones that had pieces I would actually wear.

What were some of the trends I saw? Fringing, delicate mini pleats, floaty dresses, and lace. Overall I think, next season we will be seeing romantic, feminine silhouettes across majority of brands. Flat sandals also had a huge presence on nearly every runway.

As for hair and makeup; natural is always best. The face was given a natural glowy finish, with bronzed eyes and barely there mascara. Pops of red on the lips made an appearance on a few of the runways also. Hair was given a relaxed polished feel, perfect for beach holidays, while braids were also very popular.

Overall, while I am looking forward to the cooler months and the opportunity to layer, after watching some of the shows, I'm earning for a summer holiday on the beaches of the Maldives. What were some of your favourite shows?
