2015 June Favourites

Fashion: I can't even express how happy I am to finally get my hands on a Shona Joy dress. There are so many fantastic Australian labels that have emerged in the past few years, and Shona Joy is definitely up there in my top favourites. Shona's designs are gorgeous feminine pieces, using beautiful fabrics and prints. I picked this dress up from the iconic while they where having their end of season sale.

Beauty: I've been loving the Rimmel BB Cream. I don't get much time to do my makeup these days, so this comes in very handy as I can just slap it on, get a bit of coverage and I'm out the door (if only I could get ready that quick, but atleast my base is quick...haha #girlprobs).

Nails: I'm obsessed with nude nails! I used to be all about red nails but for the past 6 or so months I can't get enough of nude, grey, white and every other version of these colours. There is just something so classy and chic about it, making your nails look clean and fresh whilst elongating your fingers, and who doesn't want that. This month I've been loving Sally Hansen's Cafe Au Lait for both fingers and toenails. It's a beautiful pinky beige shade.

Blog: Twice Blessed, is a fashion blog written by twin sisters, Bec and Marissa. These have got to be some of the most stylish sisters on the planet, keeping their colour palette to black, white and neutrals and focusing on having amazing silhouettes. This is definitely a blog to check out if you haven't already.

YouTube: This month I've been loving the YouTube channel, In The Frow. In particular I love Victoria's fashion videos. She has got incredible style, very classic yet still on trend. Victoria also has a great blog and Instagram that I'm obsessed with.

Instagram: @taramilktea Instagram belongs to the very talented Sydney based design student, Tara. Posting photos of food, ootd's and images of her and her alter ego "Tara milk tea", this is an Instagram feast for the eyes!

Experience: this past weekend I went to see Dirty Dancing at QPAC. It was a great show! I absolutely LOVE (and I mean that) the theatre! I wish I could go to every show possible but unfortunately I can't afford that. If you loved the movie you'd definitely enjoy the stage version of the story. It was such a fun, energetic show and I left wanting to start dance lessons immediately!

Book: a magazine counts as a book, right? Elle magazine has been having some big moments in the cover department. Last month, they put model Nic Trunfio, breastfeeding her baby on their exclusive subscriber issue, and this month for the first time in Australia a fashion blogger has made the cover. I've been following Nicole Warne's blog, Gary Pepper Girl, for a few years now and it's amazing to see her on the cover of a magazine. What a huge accomplishment for her.

Home: I'm sure everyone has seen some version of paper storage bags on Instagram, and I can't get enough of these two from General Eclectic. I love beautiful storage, you have to have it so it may as well look good. I want to get some more and put little pot plants (probably cactuses, they are so on trend after all) in them and use them as centrepieces on my dining table.
