Adore Beauty Skincare Haul

I recently picked up a few skincare items from Adore Beauty and thought I'd share them with you. This was my first time buying from this site and I was very happy with the overall experience. They offer free shipping on all orders within Australia which is always a bonus.

My skin has been all over the place since I had my daughter, Amelia, 6 months ago. Because I'm breastfeeding my skin has been really dehydrated and I have also been experiencing a bit of texture across my cheekbones, chin and a little bit across my forehead. I've heard great things about Alpha H Liquid Gold with Glycolic Acid so decided to give it ago and I have to say after only a week of using it, I'm in love!

I don't often notice much difference in my skin from different products, but this definitely has made my skin so much smoother! I notice a huge difference the morning after I've used this and I do feel it is already starting to smooth out my texture problems.

I'm sure a lot of you have heard of this product as it is a bit of a cult favourite among make up artists and appears in many of their professionals kits. The Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre is aimed at all skin types and is said to moisturise, protect and nourish the skin. It can be used as a moisturer, a mask and a cleanser, however I have only used it as a night time moisturiser and I can totally see why so many are obsessed with it. This product has almost a milky texture which I really like as it is not too heavy.

I've been wanting to get a sunscreen suitable for the face, that will go nicely under makeup for awhile and because I've started using the Alpha H Liquid Gold I knew I had to find one to use along with it (for those who don't know glycolic acid makes your skin more susceptible to sunburn, so you should always use a sunscreen if using a product containing this an AHA's).  Lisa Eldridge has a couple of videos on her preferred sunscreens and mentioned the La Roche-Posay suncare range so I decided to give it a go. I like the fact this has a really high SPF and is broad spectrum which is fantastic for the Australian sun. I haven't tried it under make up as yet, but think it has potential, as it is not oily or greasy at all. I do find that you have to be quite quick when rubbing it into the skin as it drys quickly and tends to "ball up" if you need to rub it in further.

Buy it here: La Roche-Posay Melt-in Cream - $27.95.

For any of you who live overseas, adorebeauty.com.au, does ship internationally.

Hope you enjoy this post.
